Dylan brought his helicopter over that he got as a gift the day before and was flying that all over. He also brought over the Transformers II to watch. So we watched it. Well, more like...Joshua fell asleep on my lap, Dylan was playing with the helicopter and I was watching the movie.
Pretty soon, dinner was sneaking up on us. We headed out to a Thai restaurant. Since my brother and sister left, it was just me and Joshua, Marie and Jon, Alanna and Dylan, Martin and my Aunt Mandy. We all picked a dish to share with the table. Everything was so delicious! It's definitely more fun going with more people so then I can try more dishes than the usual two I try when I go out to eat with just Joshua. By the time we left the restaurant, I was so incredibly full I could barely walk.
When we got back to Marie and Jon's place, I thought it would be a quiet night for the rest of the night. Boy was I wrong! Martin and Dylan came over to hang out and were going to stay over. We played some Guitar Hero and some Dance Dance Revolution.
Then Alanna came over. I guess Martin has never really gotten drunk before since he's turned 21. All I know is that a bottle of Jager and Vodka appeared in the kitchen and all of a sudden we were doing shots.
We decided to break out Scrabble and played with teams...Joshua and I, Alanna and Dylan, Marie and Jon, and Martin by himself since we all thought he was the smarty-pants. After 4 shots in a short amount of time, the Scrabble game went crazy. Not so much the game itself but Martin became our entertainment. When they said he's never been drunk before, he was now. He made us laugh and cry and laugh and cry. That is, until things went south with him and we all decided it was best to call it a night.
Martin...drunk as much as he denied it |
